Direct recruitment of 98 Sr. Ayurvedic Medical Officers in West Bengal Ayurvedic HealthService under the Directorate of Ayurveda of the Department of Health & Family Welfare.
Online Applications are invited from Indian Citizens and such other national as declared eligible by the Government of India for recruitment to the post of Sr. Ayurvedic Medical Officer in West Bengal Ayurvedic Health Service under Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of West Bengal.
Other Qualification Details:
1. Essential : A five years’ degree in Ayurved from a University established by law or a statutory Board or Examining body of Indian Medicine or its equivalent as recognized under Indian Medicine Central Council Act 1970 and Knowledge of Bengali – Spoken and Written.
2. Desirable : A Post Graduate qualification in Ayurveda from a recognized University. Six months experience as House Staff as Ayurvedic Medical Officer in a recognized Ayurvedic Institution or Hospital. OR Five years’ experience as a Registered Ayurvedic Practitioner..
3. Scale of Pay: Rs.15600/- --- Rs.42000/-, [PB 4A, Grade Pay – Rs. 5400/-]. Other allowances shall also be admissible as per existing Government Rules.
Age: Not more than 40 years on 1st. January, 2018
Application Fee: Candidates must submit online the application fee amounting to Rs. 210/- (Rupees two hundred & ten) only through GRPS ( Govt. Receipt Portal System ), Govt. of West Bengal under the Head of Account 0051-00-104- 002-16. Candidates belonging to SC/ST of West Bengal and persons with disabilities specified under Disabilities Rule, 1999 (certificates obtained before the Advertisement date) are not required to pay any fee. Such exemption of fee is, however, not applicable to any OBC (category A or B) candidate.
Documents Required
2. The West Bengal Health Recruitment Board (WBHRB) may require such further proof or particulars from the candidates as it may consider necessary and may make enquiries regarding eligibility.
3. Original Certificates relating to citizenship (by registration), age, qualifications, caste (SC/ST/BC), Physical disability (40% and above) will have to be submitted when the WBHRB asks for them. If any candidate fails to furnish any certificate or any other relevant document or information relating to his/her candidature within the time specified by the Board, his/her claim for allotment may be passed over without further reference to him/her.

2. Marks obtained in BAMS carrier (Degree Course) - 50 Max.
3. Marks obtained for Post Graduate Degree / Diploma - 10 Max.
4. Professional Experience (Per year 1 marks each countable upto 5 yrs.) - 5 Maximum
5. Interview - 15 Max.
