Homoeopathic Medical Association organized a C.M.E. in Delhi at Dr. B. R. Sur Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital on 7th October, 2018. The topic of Discussion was “The Holistical integration of different serpents to form a spectacular view of Ophidia Group in Homoeopathy” by one of the Great Homoeopath from Ludhiana, Punjab, Dr. Yogesh Malhotra. The Organizing Committee constituted Dr. Rohit Bhandari, Dr. A.K. Pandey, Dr. Aditya Fouzdar, Dr. Yashika Arora, Dr. Savita Yadav, Dr. Charu Sehgal & upcoming Homoeopaths, mainly Ifat Mehmood, Kiran, Kartik Nigam, Shivanki, Farheen, Jyoti, Kapil Kumar. More than 150 Doctors & Upcoming Homoeopaths participated in the C.M.E., the Guest of Honours were Mr. Navrattan Jain, Secretary to Shri Satyendar Jain, Health Minister, Delhi, Dr. Sanjeev Kohli, Dr. Subhash Chandra Bhargava, Dr Deepak Sharma and many other dignitaries from all over Delhi-NCR. As per the discussion, the Speaker, Dr. Yogesh Malhotra, described about Ophidia group, ‘The Holistic integration of different serpent to form a spectacular view of ophidian group in homeopathy.’ The idea of this session was to understand ophidian group in a holistic way, that is using every information from its deep subconscious to peculiar symptoms at general and physical levels from different Materia Medica and proving.
By this, the speaker differentiated most of the common and uncommon snake remedies, with help of practical case examples and through their rare uncommon peculiar differentiating symptoms. Like all snakes are having common issues like jealousy, competition, sexuality, suspiciousness, deceit, suffocation, sensitivity around the neck and abdomen, sense of persecution.

But in proving, all give different PQRS, at all levels, which help us to differentiate from each other. Like coldness of legs when walking in sun, the coldness of ear and nose after injury and hearing difficulties due to lack of wax, chorea from ear piercing, cough from touching ear canal and throat in case of Lachesis. Fear someone is behind, snow desire, thoughts of death, loves bustle crowds, smells as of a hospital, fear of retaliation by black magic, Feeling of persecuted by the ghost, monsters, spirits in Crotalus cascavella. Fear of being raped, aversion to tenderness or cuddles and want strong sexual partner, lascivious and vivid dreams and imaginations in Case of Cenchris contortix. Haughtiness, with fear of falling from down esp. dreams of falling into bottomless pit (abyss), losing their position in society, craves good opinion of others, desire banana, oranges, salads, sweetened buttermilk (lassi), great burning with desire and amelioration by cold drinks with cold sensation descending down the esophagus and settling in stomach is unique in Elaps. Crotalus Horridus is having Issues of society, family, fear of thunders and lightening, very sympathetic, similar to Phosphorus. Also having ailments from discords between family, liver disorder and persecuted by an obligation of being social and maintain family contact which is uncommon in most of the snakes as they love to be along. Issues of responsibility suffered wrong, asthma, fear of rain, headache felt even during sleep, wrong done, issues of morality, neglect is present in Naja. Adultery with high sexuality and action on venous system in case of Viper with feeling as if limb would burst with persecution from Satan.

How to integrate all system together was also discussed, so that we don’t stick to one way of homeopathy but instead of that we choose system according to given case information which will bring more flexibility and deeper results in clinic.
